Are you a passionate and dedicated Chef looking for a role with excellent daytime hours and a friendly, supportive team? We’re excited to be expanding our team at The Brush & Broom Restaurant, a much-loved, family-run business known for our delicious breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon teas.
This is a newly created full-time position, working 39 hours a week over 5 out of 7 days, including weekends, with most shifts taking place between 8am and 4pm. While occasional evening work may be required for themed events or private hires, the majority of your hours will be during the day, perfect for those seeking a better work-life balance.

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes following standard recipes.
Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Monitor food stock levels and place orders as required.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Create new menu items and specials in collaboration with head chef.

Proficient in various culinary techniques.
Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
